Ahhh the journey to Ahmadabad. I rode on a shaky bus while some disgusting old man kept putting his hand on my thigh (SLAP!) I arrived in this city, of which I knew nothing, at 8 AM only to find that the next train did not leave until 9 pm. I had lost it by this point. Not only was there the usual crowd staring at me for being white, now I had a full audience because I was crying. I felt like such a pansy. So there I sat in the train station finishing "Lord of the rings." 5 hours later one of the attendants offered me tea, then he showed me around the town. We went to gandhi's Ashram, very cool. He could scarcely understand me, and vice verse so I just wanted to go back to the station. "No no, one more minute you stay." By the end my back ached from riding on his motorcycle with my HUGE backpack. After the 50th time of asking the bastard finally took me back to the station, I slept the entire ride on the top bunk.

Now I am back in Mumbai and my financial situation is not so much good as it is bad, so I may be leaving India a bit sooner than planned:(. I'll keep you posted. Keep checking back for more pictures, the majority will be up tomorrow (the 7th).

I want to take a second to thank my dear friend Jamil who knew just what I needed. That email has kept a smile on my face.

Now as for halloween... I was a wee bit homesick for a second or two (as were the other American girls) I just wanted fall, candy corn, and pumpkins. What I got instead was much more authentic, and like nothing I will ever experience again. Myself, some Americans, and some Indians sitting high upon a rooftop overlooking Mumbai as we carved a watermelon... it was a "Wack-O'lantern, if you will. We were sticky, and it was fantastic.  Happy Halloween!

Olly is the sweetest

I have Indians doing the humpy dance, AWESOME!
