Today Umesh took us to the jewellery store first, where we inquired as to the productivity of Cook's employees and how our profit margins were faring. Then Umesh went to take a cousin to the rail station and pick up a different fare. So Muieed and one of the guys drove us to the fort, and Muieed made it very clear that the elephants here were dangerous and not to be trusted. We also borrowed one of their cells to call when we were done at the fort, they made us practice calling and answering, too funny. The walk up to the fort was a little steep but the bad part was how hard it was to breathe because I am so stuffed up. We watched a music video being filmed, it was really funny because the guy in it was having a lot of trouble lifting the girl, I was cracking up. Wandered around the fort, the place was like a labrynth. At one point we saw a massive swarm of bees, we literally ran the other way. Took picture an shook peoples hands, I think we could both be politicians now. One the way down we took photos with a snake charmer, he charged 50 rupees because he said he has to feed the snake chicken eggs. At first I couldn't figure why he wouldn't just feed it rats but then I realized, duh, he removed the venom so the snake can't kill the rats itself. I'm sure the idea of feeding it dead rats never occured to him. Called Muieed for a lift back to the jewellery shop then sat down and waited. These guys pushing big carts of clothes stopped in front of us and the other guys were all shopping. Guys were peeing all around too, so we moved multiple times to escape the smell.

A beautiful painted elephant came over and the mahoot said oh feed her some banannas. Well we'd already decided we didn't want our banannas (h5n1 poo on the cart) so we fed them to her. Didn't take any pictures or anthing but the guy starts saying give me money, give me money. Dude we fed your elephant for you, you should be paying us. So we walked away. Then a guy came over and asked us for cigarrettes, when we said we had none he started hounding us for money for gas cause his motorbike was out. Dude if that is really the case why'd you start by asking for cigs? Such bs, plus you ask locals for gas money, not people who are clearly tourists. He was shouting at us for money as he walked down the street. Muieed brought his daughter with him to get us, she was so cute, very shy. We stopped and looked at their lake palace on the way, it was pretty, didn't see any boats though. Then at the jewellery store they bought us lunch and more tea. It was very good food. His daughter was ready for her nap, she is 4, so after a little bit she went home. We stayed and worked and played until dark. Saw a newly married couple, very cute. We really have enjoyed spending time with all the guys, they are really sweet. They gave both of us a bracelet as goodbye gifts. We will miss them. Umesh took us to the train station where we bought tickets for tommorrows train to Agra. Then back to the hotel to pack, we have to be up at 4:15am for our 6 am train, waaaa.

The world waits for no one
