Death Valley and Area 51

Took the silver family wagon out to Death Valley today, which is a few hours drive from Vegas.  Stopped at the closest service station to Area 51  - which Wingy desparately wanted to see but was warned that he would probably get locked up if he got too close!

Proceeded as planned to Death Valley which was really quite spectacular.  I actually liked Death Valley with all of its changing landscapes (rocks, boulders and sand dunes) better than the Grand Canyon!

Headed back to Vegas for the flight to San Francisco.  Saw a really cool terrrorist detector at Las Vegas airport.  You have to step inside the machine and it blows shots of air at you which it then analyses to determine it you are carrying any explosives.  It scans for metal too.... I wonder if it is just a hoax?
