Mesquite - one big disappointment

Don´t get me wrong, I wasn´t expecting great things from Mesquite, but we were quite disappointed when we got there.  Number 1, we had to eat at McDonald´s.  Number 2, we realised that, in changing our plans to use the extra day, we had forgotten about Hoover Dam.  It was just south of Vegas, and as you might be able to see from the map (if RealTravel hasn´t decided to switch the order and make me look like a crazy traveller who didn´t buy a map) we were pretty far north east of there.  So no Hoover Dam.

We left Mesquite as soon as possible.
