A breath taking journey to a SKI TOWN in the melting heat of AugusT!!!
In 2010 Whistler will host the XXI Winter Games. Its icon already rests at its summit: a human figure made out of stacked rocks, a reflection of the art and legacy of the Nunavut people, otherwise known as Inuits, esquimos or indigenous people of this land.
2010 Winter Olympics... WHERE??? Check out WHISTLER :)
This is definitely a place to be visited whatever the season, summertime for example gives you the opportunity to fully appreciate the trees and bare land that define the ski trails during the winter season.

To get some snow play you must go up a 40 minute gondola ride to the top of the mountain :)
