Its now 9 days before the start of our trip and we are feeling a mixture of nervousness and excitement. I left my job last week and Lee leaves his tomorrow so its all starting to feel very real.
Spent yesterday in Edinburgh sorting out the Russian and Chinese visas which we need to collect on Tuesday and then we really will be ready to go. Just the small matter of deciding which things to pack, bearing in mind we have two backpacks to last us the year.
Hopefully we will have seen you all before we go - only a few more visits to do next week.
