My last few days

Due to the Easter holidays, there was a marked increase in the number of people around the pool.  The weather had produced another beautiful day, so I was up early to claim my lounger around the pool.  I was feeling fairly ill at the sight of a man in yellow speedos (wrong on every level), when I spotted two familiar faces around the pool.  The Construction Manager from Dalby, Glen, and this wife Patty, had decided to take a trip to Fiji for their Easter weekend.  It was very random and proved that 'it's a small world after all.'  I had a quick chat with them and they invited me to join them for dinner, a gesture I appreciated.  We met at 7, after my usual pre-dinner cocktail, and enjoyed the fish buffet in the main restaurant.

Determined to make my last full day count, I was at the pool for 8.30 to top up the tan.  The man had replaced the yellow speedos with green ones, which still weren't much better.  It was a hot day though and I think I spent a maximum of 20 minutes on the lounger before I had to cool off in the pool.
