Up bright and early, as always. Breakfast was good, except the curdled yet not outdated milk. And then off to Virginia Commonwealth where we were greeted with such friendliness and kindness! Umbrellas, breakfast, and a HOT lunch!! Each table was greeted personally and thanked for coming, and I was even the famous Mari Zang from Pacific who had worked so hard to see the students, even though the time wasn't there. Another competition, this time with a bet, that ended yet again in victory left me feeling good about the day, and especially about the number of students I got to see, finally!

Then the real work began. Only a few schools headed out to the second fair of the day, myself included. Christopher Newport must be the most beautiful campus I've ever seen! Lots of space, matching stately brick buildings with tall crisp white pillars. The fair was not fully occupied, and the tables were laid out in odd order, with curtains separating all contact. Very very tired, I pushed hard to make it through. At 7 I was finally free from my 10 hour day! I quickly rushed to my Westin to check in, change, and head back to Williamsburg in time to enjoy dinner and the debates with my new roadie BFF's. (they were staying in a pretty scary hotel, despite its proximity to the next day's event).
