Ha! coming home on Saturday and this is my first entry! Thoroughly enjoying this week; a complete contrast to the rest of the holiday. White fluffy towels for the beach/swimming pool by the thousand; parasols/chairs for the beach. I phoned reception desk to see whether they had a bucket and spade which we could borrow; ten minutes later knock on our room door and there was a bucket and spade! What service. Getting slightly fed up of pizza and perhaps now looking forward to some home cooked/prepared food, but hey, I'll survive.

Some recent memories: The electric storm on my birthday - spectacular. Lighting up the whole sky and ocean; thunder so loud you'd think the sky was falling down. Wow! Really cleared up the sky afterwards, next day was so clear.

Had a fab late evening jacuzzi yesterday whilst Paul put William to bed. Felt a bit hot, so walked down to the beach and sat alone on the boardwalk in the dark to watch the stars and lighthouses over on Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket. What bliss. Suddenly jolted out of contemplation by snuffling of animal below my feet. Leapt almost ten feet into the air. It was two skunks! Smelly! Saw one of them again this evening whilst out running.

Yoga on the beach this morning: blue sky, hot sun, bit of a stretch - fantastic! And lots of other good memories of course, you can see lots of them in the photos. Lazy day today, time on the beach, indoor pool (William not persuaded by outdoor pool and jellyfish in sea which someone told us would sting - contradicted later by someone else, so who knows?). Then, surprise, surprise, adventure golf! William totally besotted. Set of golf clubs for birthday please. William went to Kid's Club film night this evening, Chicken Little, now tucked up in bed. Wheat beer and that's me finished.

Probably my first and last entry, sorry! Suppose all good things come to an end. See you all soon! Midge x
