The most delicious thing here is Radler, a combination of lemonade and high-quality German/Austrian beer. Delightful for a girl who categorically hates beer. We went to Donau Insel Fest (Danube Island Fest,) where I got some, as well as a tattoo! Ok, not a real one, although I considered telling my parents that to hear the surprise in their voices.

There were an TON of people there. We were there in the afternoon and went back at night and it was way more crowded. It was way more fun though! There was an MTV dance party and fireworks went off at 10 pm. There was also rides, concerts, little shops, and a TON of food! I got cotton candy, falafel, and assorted beverages. Trying to get out was a nightmare. There was some mud, in which a) Lindsay nearly got trampled and b) I ruined my sandals. Oh the casualties of Danou Insel Fest! The fest took uip the entire insland which has to be more than 5 miles long. We didn’t even make it to the end of the island, but it still took us about 45 minutes to get out, walking at a brisk pace through a crowd. We named the debacle "Escape from Donau Insel Fest," and it lives on in Los Amigos history to this day.
