Where to start.....
Arrived into Amsterdam late in the early evening & we were all locked in the bus and given the most precise guide to foreign cuisine yet. Kaz - you will appreciate this Im sure having lived here!! Hilarious. Had a few geeks on this bus who were outraged as to the fact that a muffin could be the end of their pure lifestyle!
Anyway. Off the bus for a walk about. Were led straight into the heart of the red light district. Hhhmmm. Lots of not so attractive girls in shop windows wearing nothin more than a bikini. The boys were in testosterone heaven by this stage.

Dinner on the canal, off to a coffee shop & then home at I dont know what time....
Next day went to the Heinekin Brewery. You will all be well proud to know I can now drink beer with the best of them (as can most kiwi girls). Had the added advantage of having 2 pregnant girls & 2 girls that didnt drink in our group. They willingly handed over their drink chips & for the rest of us the afternoon become a bit of a blur. What an amazing experience though. The money this company puts into advertising could feed all of Africa.

Did a canal cruise & then partied it up at the Bullfrog amoungst a sea of orange (soccer colours).
Anyway. All in all I loved Amsterdam. Dont worry Mum. Im not bringing home any special muffin recipes - we shall leave that to the dutch bakers.
