Found Our Groove
From Disney 2008 in Disneyworld, United States on Apr 25 '08
I decided to blog this afternoon instead of tonight. My dad and Ellen and aunt and uncle are arriving this afternoon and we will be out tonight. Brian took the kids to the pool so i have a few minutes to write.
We found our groove! We took advantage of the earlier hours for the park opening for resort guests. It was a completely different experience. There were no lines or crowds. First stop of the day was Tower of Terror. How's that for 8 am??? Sam and Livvie were truly obsessed about going on it. Beth was too short so i stayed down with her and Brian and rachel took the other two. 10 minutes later they came off all smiles. Sam loved it BUT doesn't want to do it again. He just laughs about it. Livvie did it... did she love it... no. I am very proud that she tried it. She was still smiling when she walked off so no permanent damage done! :)
Rachel and I got a fast pass for the Rockin' Roller Coaster. Which was very cool.... 0 to 60 in 2.6 seconds was an experience! We took the kids to the Star Wars ride and then off to Playhouse Disney. They met JoJo and sang and danced the morning away. After that we watched a little performance of High School Musical in the streets and wandered over to the stunt show. Very cool show! The kids were amazed and loved it!
I definitely it my groove for traveling with 3 kids. I think I've got the organization down now. Things went very smoothly this morning. Everybody slept great, the weather is great again. We are taking a break from the parks for the afternoon and enjoying the resort pool and water slides. Speaking of that.... I have to get going! :)
I think we are headed to Pleasure Island tonight and maybe Animal Kingdom tomorrow. Becky will be spending the day with us tomorrow as well. I'll share more later.... BYE! Tara
