Hefner again...

So back to Lake Hefner and still no sign of the playboy mansion - I think someone somewhere got their wires crossed, or it just sunk under the weight of the girls' combined brain power!!

Oh yeah back to work. Again with Lee and we had a good week, the site is good and they are happy with us which helps. First night we headed to Cattlemans Diner! GREAT, it has been there since 1911 - that is only 4 years older than the state of OK, which by the way celebrates its 100 birthday this month! Well it is a proper cowboy place with GOOD steak and...well just like an old home with dark wood, booths and tables, fun though and a huge queue, we only had to wait for 10 mins! Was fun and we even looked in the Cowboy shop that sold boots - oh yeah, ye-hah! (think thats how you spell it). Needless to say I did not buy any as I know a few people that would disown me - I do quite like them though!!

So another day at work and really tired, just not sleeping right but the days always go quickly which helps. Oh and we had IHOP for breaky - right outside the hotel. So who was paying attention in a previous Vegas blog - IHOP = ... International House of Pancakes!! Just checking. It is though as close to a British fry up as you will get!

Went to an "English" bar for a quick drink but wasn't great so went to the Fox and Hounds - basically a sports bar, but had good fish and chips and some good drinks. Lee and I also played pool - I won but not very convincingly. Oh well was just getting my eye in... yeah right!

The week is finally drawing to a close and I've decided that going to Vegas for the weekend is far more fun than going home and US Airways owe me a flight anyway! Barry will also be in town and should be a good laugh. I really miss Sally as well. Funny how I seem to spend all my time there!!!!!

Stayed close to the hotel for dinner and an early night ready for the weekend and a travelliung Friday. All has gone well at site and hope they will be fine - I am sure they will be. Look forward to coming back.

So I am really annoyed right now as I know that England are playing RSA and I will not get to see it - oh well, hopefully we will win but I do not hold much hope... fingers crossed...
