We had a little trouble finding the hotel as we hadn't got a detailed street map of the city and was hoping that we would remember where we saw the hotel from the bus ride we first took on arrival from the airport into town - no such luck!  So we got to see a bit of the city while touring (looking for the hotel really).  Found it in the end and were very pleased with what we got.  The room was very comfortable and the staff were excellent.  We had a bellboy bring our luggage in which was so funny as we had backpacks (most people had matching LVT luggage) and a filthy car we'd been living out of for the previous month, raised eyebrows I bet.  Oh well, paying customers so we didn't care much.  We also set our room up into a self catering apartment where we prepared most of our meals except our Christmas dinner with we walked into town to get.  A bit tricky as most of the food establishments were closed due to it being Christmas day-evening.  Laura found a really nice sushi restaurant which did takeaway (Anthony didn't want sushi, so takeaway was the best option) we also found a kebab shop open so Anthony had a chicken kebab which he informed me was excellent.  We took them back to our room to pair up with some other Christmas treats we'd bought from a supermarket earlier, brandy snaps, marshmallows, beer and a bottle of wine and walnuts and brazil nuts and a box of Ferrero Rocher to share, all good really.  We went to the Sky Tower for a little play on the slots in the casino, no winnings but a laugh anyway, watched some mad people being propelled into the air on the road side bungy ride, not for me although I think Anthony would have liked a go.  After a nice stay in our hotel and a lovely, very welcomed hot bath (only showers on campsites generally) it was time to check out, back to world of tent...

We could get used to this
