EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!

N: Ooooooooh, this is exciting! I've spent many a day procrastinating in work, reading the blogs on this site for trip ideas, and I'm finally at the stage where I think it's acceptable to start writing ours! Well, either I start getting excited about it on here, or I continue pissing people off with my RELENTLESS travel chat in work! I can't stop talking/thinking about it...it's one of those things I assumed we'd talk about forever, but never actually get around to doing!

The trip's a year long, RTW effort, and we'll be visiting the 3 places we've always wanted to go to...Mexico, Japan and India. Lots of stops in between, but those are at the top o' our list. We've bought the tickets (Global Village), insurance (Global Village) and bags (Cotswold Outdoors). Got a really good deal on the bags by getting registered (for free) as part of the British Mountaineering Council, so that saved us some pennies. I ended up buying a Berghaus Antaeus 45+8 lady rucksack...fits really comfortably around all the lady bits, and Jo got a Berghaus Freeflow III 50 litre beast. They're a decent size, and hopefully it'll stop me buying loads of shizzle along the way as there'll be no room to fit it all in! But where will I put my favourite cardigans? How will I choose what to take with me? All will be revealed in 3 months.

Holy crap 3 months.
