Vegas baby...VEGAS!
From Mike and Meg's Honeymoon in Las Vegas, United States on Jul 17 '07
For the first time on the honeymoon we turned and headed East and left California in our rearview mirror. Our next stop...well we were not sure. We figured we would drive as far as we could in daylight and we were passing Las Vegas around 5pm. We decided to stay there for the night (which I was wicked pumped about). We ended up staying at the MGM Grand for a very very low price and a sweet room. I would go on and on about us in Vegas...but you know the saying "what happends in Vegas...." OK OK we won about $400.00 playing roulette and went out to a very expensive dinner late night. The temperature in Vegas was only 110 degrees. It felt like we were standing in front of an open oven every time we went outside. Needless to stay we tried to stay inside as often as possible. By the way, dry heat my ass...it was ridiculous. We left Vegas the next day and headed for the Hoover dam and Grand Canyon.
