Rwanda has many wildlife viewing opportunities, including the "classic" African animals in Akagera National Park. We decided we would focus on primates in Rwanda, so we took a trip to the Nyungwe Forest National Park in the southwestern part of the country.

We took a public bus ride down to Nyungwe, and were somewhat annoyed to find out that our window couldn't open.  We soon discovered that on this occasion it was a blessing in disguise, as it was on this bus trip that we learned of the Rwandese propensity for motion sickness. The small, windy road through the forest park proved too much for many of our fellow passengers...the kids across the aisle and in the seat behind us were all throwing up in the bus, someone in the back was retching, and the lady in front of us kept puking out her window.  Luckily, it couldn't splash back in on us.
