We just landed off the coast of Africa in the Canary Islands, the first stop being Lanzarote. This is a volcanic island with so many volcanoes we are hoping none decides to erupt while we are here. The town is very modern but no one speaks any English so my pathetic Spanish is coming in handy. Only here for today but the weather once again is cooperating very nicely.
