The very last night in Chiang Mai, we head out into town as a group for dinner and drinks. After a few days of trekking through the rain forest a few of us decided it was fitting to get totally trashed. Well I succeeded. The most poignant memory I had of the night had to be the moment when the live band that happened to be playing wherever we were at started playing "Wonderwall" by Oasis. I remember the whole place stopping what they were doing and singing the song together, both Thai and Farang (Foreign), and I'll never forget the love and unity I felt while this was going on. I used to have a different memory tied to this song, but now it is this.

All in all, this was a great night following some random Dutch girls (Dutch girls definitely know how to party!) around town, that for me ended early; I was too drunk to go any further so I stumbled my way home and crashed (double fisting for the lose!). I woke up the next morning looking at the next bed wondering where the hell Adam ended up....
double fisting for the lose!
The next day was the time to head back to Bangkok to go about our seperate ways. Chris was headed for Australia, while the rest of us were headed to the various islands for a bit of rest and relaxation.
