I have to apologize for my behavior in Finland. All Finns around the world will be horrified at what I did or to be more precise, what I didn't do and that was to actually stay there. I used Tampere like a disposable cup and cast it aside in pursuit of glory. 4 hours was all I could offer and I now realize I have spent more time around Finnish people than actually in their country.

It unfortunately ranks number 3 in least time spent in a country. 1st and 2nd being Myanmar and Laos respectively. Once this 2nd race is over which would be sometime in 2009.I will make a 100% effort to give it a proper visit (including Tampere).

All I can say of the place is that 3 feet of snow welcomed us and it was very cold. The airport was closing down for the night and the food and drink that was available was ridiculously expensive. I will pick this review up when I return to Finland.
