It was another early morning train today - the train left at 6 am.  It took us 5 trains to get to Fussen but none of them very long.

We visited Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles.  The first castle was build in the 12th  century and the second was built in the late 1800's.  The Neuschwanstein Castle looks like a fairy tale castle from Disney World.  Mad King Ludwig of Bavaria started to build it in 1886 but it has never been completed.  After touring the castles we walked through the forrest to the luge but unfortunately it was closed when we arrived.  Taryn was a little disappointed.  We will try to get the luge by Salzburg.

The landscape is very mountainous and beautiful around here.  There was a lot of people hiking around this area.

Nice castle. Wasn't this made by some kind of crazy king. Looks like the weather to this point has been ok. We are off tomorrow to Calgary Dean
