A Weekend With Jen & Sirish

Saturday morning - Jen and Sirish are still sleeping but we of course are wide awake due to jet lag recovery. We found a Starbucks (oh happy day) and headed to the Berkeley Marina to watch the sun rise.

After our stop at the LaGreca's, we hit the 5 North for San Francisco.  It was a HOT day (over 90 degrees) and the A/C in the Xterra worked only in fits.  However, we cruised up the freeway and pulled into Berkeley around 10:30 PM.  Jen and Sirish were waiting for us and helped us blow up our mattress while we devoured some gingersnaps that Jen very thoughtfully provided (we did not stop to eat on the road.)  The next couple of days we didn't do a lot, just hung out at the house, went to a movie, played with the cats (Jen has a sweet, laid back cat named Jane, the total opposite of Spirit Sky.)  Although they should have been kissing cousins, they were more like hissing cousins. We were all just grateful that they didn't kill each other.
