This past week has been very uneventful. I think I am soaking up the laziness before my journey back to America where I will be endowed with a 40+ working week once again.
I finished up my work week quite easily. We are testing students now, so during class I twiddle my thumbs as they feverishly work. So far they have done fairly well on the test. I must be an excellent teacher!
Friday Natalie and I ran some errands and made a last minute decision to add another journey to our few remaining weeks in Europe. Getting cheap bus tickets, we are now heading to Budapest, Hungary next weekend. The trip is a short one, we leave Friday morning getting into Budapest at 1 in the afternoon and leave early Sunday at 9. We have researched a few sites to see, but overall recommendations have been to eat lots of food and drink their wine. Apparently both are excellent. Guess we will be the judge of that.

Friday night we met up with our friends Elizabeth and Kari. This week is Elizabeth’s last week in Prague. Over Christmas break, she became engaged to her boyfriend and has decided to return home early to save some money and plan a wedding. We had drinks and a meal with them and walked around town before returning home. Saturday was much lazier. I left the house only for 20 minutes to walk with a friend to get food. Natalie and I sat around the house all day reading. We had burrowed some books and each finished one that day. It was so relaxing.

Sunday was zoo day. We took a day trip to the Prague Zoo. We saw many animals including tigers (my favorite), polar bears, pelicans, mice, etc. It was a typical zoo with nothing too exciting. We actually got through most of the zoo in less than two hours. We cruised through it. Some of the exhibits were nicely done and neat to walk through.
This week I have a full working week, everyday. This is a first since I’ve been back. Got lots to keep me busy which I like.
