San Antonio

Arriving at 3 in the morning and then attempting to find our hostel,

with our rucksacks in the baking sun, was certainly an experience. As

was coming across a very random parade of Army folk parading through

the city and the whole city wearing maroon for a day (turned out to be

a big football match) .  We enjoyed the bustling riverwalk with

its many bars and restaurants and the shopping centre, which was

thankfully air conditioned and had a great food court. The city was a

wonderful rest stop and we caught our breath for a day or so.
