Day Three

We had breakfast in the room and took off for a ride. We rode up the west side of the lake into Ft. Ticonderoga, Crown Point, NY and into Vermont for lunch. I found my highway pegs were loose. I didn't have the correct size socket to tighten it up so we stopped at Wal-Mart. We were on our way back to the hotel when it started to rain. We stopped along the interstate to put our rain gear on. When we got back to the hotel, the sun was shining. We jumped in the pool to cool off a bit. After swimming, we rode into town for dinner at Smokey Joe's BBQ. While we were sitting there, it started getting darker and darker. We inhaled our dinner and headed for the hotel. Yes, we got wet. It was pouring rain by the time we got back. And, the power was out. NO AC, TV, lights...nothing but our bottle of wine and a flashlight. We rode about 250 miles today
