If this is an introduction to Malaysian life then I'm going to like it.  It's laid back and friendly here, food is cheap (most things are), the only set back is the constant sticky heat from which there is little let up, even at night.

I actually slept for an hour on the 5 hour bus ride from Singapore.  I usually find this impossible, especially during the day.  It must have been the boredom of the view: constant palm tree plantations / jungle. There's not that much here to be honest but it's a nice town.  KL next.
