Have just had a fantastic few weeks in this area. Did a whirlwind tour of Toronto, Niagara, Quebec and Montreal - off to the airport in a few hours, can't believe it's all abouit to be over. In brief, here's what happened:

Toronto

The French cuisine obvious didn't cross the Atlantic with the culture!

Partied loads with Dave and Al. A really cool city, it was good to catch up with the lads. They took me down to the wine region and we saw all the sites. A cool, trnedy place.

Niagara falls

One massive waterfall! What more can I say. very impressive. When you lean over the railings just feet above the rushing water there is a scary tendancy to jumnp in! The Maid of the Mist boat was amazing too - underneath you really understand just how big it is!!

Quebec City

Best city by far in canada - just like a mini Paris. Did the historical tour and ate some 'Pudim' - their delicacy of chips, gravy and melted cheese...the French cuisine obviously didn't make it across. I loove Quebec...have to come back with more time.

Montreal

After Quebec the whole French city thing wasn't as good. Don't get me wrong, a great city, but not as nice as Quebec City. The festival was going on so the place wass rammed. Took in a few museums and art galleries, so a bit of the local history which was pretty interesting...but ran out of time really to see the place.

So - home I come!

What a trip...
