We arrived 9am in Panama and got a transfer to our lodge in Cierro Ancon overlooking the Puente de las Americas which crosses the Canal. The ride in took us over a causeway which had great views of the business district and up through jungle to the lodge.

Went for a walk to the top of Cierro Ancon which is a protected area and we saw some spiders, vultures, hummingbirds and a strange taleless rat called a Neque as well as great views over the whole city.

Back at the lodge there was a family of 3 toed sloths in the trees just metres from our balcony.

We went out in the La Cangreja district for food and got a nice plate of seafood and a couple of beers before heading back to our balcony again.
