This place is real gorgeous.  Reminds me of a cross between a lazy Beach Town with the vendors and the beach coverups and an Asia Epact.  The beach is just gorgeous, and we have only seen one.  The Mountains go to the sea.  Forests of Palm Trees.  Hot and Humid--but we're use to that.  Today it is to get cooler--yeah!  We ate at a open air restaurant--food excellent, cheap, thai noodles to die for, who would think fried pineapple would be good?  Strange looking fruit. But the best is that they give you frozen babywipes to cool down with.  The service and the rooms are top class.  The buffet in the morning has everything from Thai to Asia to American--although the french toast is hard.  The towels in the room are made to look like swans and elephants and turtles.  A trick Nick wants me to recreate at home.  But how did we get here....We arrived at the Savannah Airport (with the help of Barb) to discover that Lauren had no clothes, sweater or long pants for the trip.  And then to make it worst: lost all of her cosmetics and stuff to that 3 oz rule.  She almost cried--nope, she did cry--no clothes and no face wash and no cell phone.  We flew to Atlanta where we took the first non stop to Seoul..balloons, banners, VP of Delta, VP of Korea, free Sparkling Korea, free food..the good news:  we were leaving on time, with it won't crash with those VP's on the plane.  Long flight.  17 +hours but on a 51 year old body--it felt like 100.  Off in Korea, linked up with a Basketball team that was from America.  It is amazing how English speaking people stick out.  Back on the plane, to Malasysia.  Arrive after flying 27 hours: 9 dinners on the airplanes, 4 movies.  Amazing raced it through "Air Asia--Now anyone can fly airlines"-we did get a seat on a nice plane.   Buy a VISA in the airport--as Nick steers us far from every duty free shop.  Take a minivan cab to the hotel (a ride that was simular to Lauren's driving-but a little faster) where we now sit and drink coffee (very strong) and start to unwind and love life.   Wish all of you were here...today we are off sightseeing and to get a well deserved massage-and some manly Thai-boxing for NIck--too much girl stuff is killing him.
