Uyuni - Pink Hats and Photos

Arrived into Uyuni to much excitement when we discovered we had a room with actual sofas in it.  Small luxuries mean alot when you are away for this long.  The hotel does pancakes for breakfast and makes its own great pizza's - "Minuteman Pizza - Pizza With Altitude (3,360m)".

I guess pancakes and pizza in Bolivia isn't really getting down with the locals, but they were great so we didn't care.

Bought a fabulous pink hat for 2 whole english pounds which made Dave the Hat our main driver very jealous.

Spent a whole day messing around on the Salt Flats and it was one of my best days so far.  It really is an amazing sight just seeing this white expanse that goes on and on forever.  We had a great guide who even agreed to participate in our Voyage video which is a classic!

We saw the train graveyard with loads of old rusty train wrecks, cactus island and a salt hotel.  Then we had lots of crazy fun putting together photos (will post some as soon as I can).  There were a few too many involving the new pink hat and I think I went off it pretty quickly - fortunately I think Tony has taken a bit of a fancy to it so might pass it on.....
