I fell in love with Edinburgh!  As we drove in from the airport, all we could see was sandstone buildings, castles and cathedrals, straight out of the victorian era.  You could honestly imagine you were back in the 1800's down with the commoners.  As we arrived at our hostel, the "Edinburgh Dungeons" caught Ross's eye, we decided to go and have a look.  It was quite a tacky tourist trap, but fun all the same.  The actors decided to use Ross to demonstrate some torture devices, which was a laugh.  That evening, we booked ourselves into one of the many "Ghost Tours" run in the old town.  The one we booked was apparently the scariest one!  I was a little nervous from the beginning, Ross, not so much.  Our guide was very funny and a great actor, which did add to the whole experience.  The major feature of the tour was the old graveyard at a place called "Greyfriars". It is the oldest graveyard in the city, and because the city has been quite overpopulated for most of it's existance, hundreads of thousands of people are allegedly buried there.  One particular incident involving a man called Mackenzie, who ordered a couple of hundred people to be imprisoned in the graveyard, and later died due to exposure, has apparently resulted in a Poltergeist haunting part of the graveyard.  We were taken into this part of the graveyard, told some spooky stories, and led back out again before the poltergeist could get us!!! All right on dusk, when the light was just enough so we wouldn't trip over the gravestones.  Very cool!
