I've spent a very special week in London, and it was tough to get on that train up North. Not just leaving Talia, but also a stress-free, sunny city.
Two hours of train journey heralded Manchester in all its wonder. Thunder, lightning, torrential rain... Straight off a train from London, into the car, up to Salford to pick up a van, back to my former Manchester house to move every single item.
Back at Liverpool by midnight, which is pretty good going I think. Definitely not a job for the Micra.
A Mercedes Sprinter is possibly the largest beast I've ever ridden (ex girlfriends not included. Ahem...); makes sitting in a Micra feel like sitting on the floor.
