Goodmorning Dolphins!
It was early the first dolphin feeding was at 7:30 am and we made it!!
The kids just loved it. The dolphins at Monkey Mia are the smaller kind. About seven came right up to the beach area, one was a young 3 month old. Very cute indeed. We learned lots about dolphins one ability I would not mind adopting is the fact that they can sleep 1 eye and half brain at a time, now that would be handy!
Adrian and Eleni got to fed the dolphins as did Nadine,Sharene and David. That was very special.

Later on in the day we went on the Aristocat, a catamaran with boom net fot the kids to cool off in (hang on to your shorts!)
First stop was the pearl farm. Did you know it takes about 7 years to produce a nice size pearl- no wonder they are so expensive.
As we cruised around later we saw dolphins and dugongs and caught a glimpse of large turtles.
Later on the beach we snorkeled, fished and tried to keep the fishing bait away from the pelicans and tried to feed the blowfish to the pelicans which even they would not eat. Janelle came eyeball to eyeball with a small stingray and yes, the whole resort heard it!
