Rockin' New Year's Eve!

Sunday morning I got up ready to face another day.  I was supposed to go to a New Year's Party/church service at the Pastor's house in the next town over, but having lost the key for my bike, I had no way to get there.  I didn't really feel like socializing anyway, so I made some sesame tofu and carrots with brown rice and went over to Adam's house to play video games (Viva Pinata--despite how much I have been making fun of Adam over this game, it's actually really cool!)  Just before midnight we paused the game and watched some videos of fireworks on youtube.  woohoo, how exciting.  We continued playing Viva Pinata for a few more hours and then watched a Japanese movie called Battle Royale, an incredibly violent and gorey movie (and very controversial in Japan) about an island where Junior High kids are sent to kill each other.  It was a pretty good movie with some funny lines.

So that was Sunday.
