After almost 4 weeks we left Chile to cross the Andes and enjoy the scenery of Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina.
We had a memorable trip to Perito Moreno Glacier; at 60 metres high, 2.5 kilometres wide and 30 kms long it's an impressive sight! We were captivated by the sounds of the cracking ice and the spectacle as it plummeted into the lake below.
In El Chalten we did more trekking (!) beneath the stunning peaks of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torres. Yes we should be seriously fit by now, if only we could resist the wine!!!
