Christmas!

The sunday before christmas was snowing hard. Got up to copper mountain for half a day in the blizzard and got first tracks off the top in about 4" of fresh powder. It was mint. Midday i headed accross to breckenridge and met up with warren and 'dawg' (warrens mate ryan). They both ski and basically just head straight down the mountain at breakneck speed. I had an interesting time keeping up with all the moguls and tree runs we did heh!

Christmas day after breckie i went up to copper with my flatmates jeremy and amy and had a go at teaching them to snowboard.. It was their second day so it was pretty funny but they're doing pretty good. We headed along to the bar where they work in the copper resort and grabbed some food and drinks..

Christmas night i headed to mike and chris's for a party with warren. We met mike and chris at the alpen hutte when we we're staying there looking for accommodation. There were about 11 of us and we had about 5 courses of food (salad>lasagne>ham/potatos/peas>turkey!>desert) because their oven was so small it could only cook one thing at a time! it was the best meal i've had in ages! Met some girls from australia, nz (welly) and the states who work at breck with the guys. We we're all stuffed after dinner and played drinking games most of the night. Ended up missing our bus and staying the night at the flat. I swear hangovers here are worse cos of the altitude!
