Ireland was a very pretty country. I was not only in Dublin, but also in Galway and Belfast (Northern Ireland, different country actually, but I'm going to put it in this same entry). Some highlights:

*Meeting lots of fun people in the hostel in Dublin (even if we couldn't use the shower in our room for a day because it leaked into the common room below).

*Trying Guinness and actually making it through a whole pint.

*The Spanish people who got up at 7 every morning and woke up our whole each day with their incredibly loud chatter (how I wish I were the kind of person who could just tell them off).

*Cooking lots of food in the hostel because it's expensive to eat out!

Galway:

*Meeting Amberlee, who goes to UNM and lives in Albuquerque!

*Meeting Matt, an interesting American guy who was also traveling with someone from NM (didn't meet that guy though). *

Fending off the advances of many drunk rugby players, with whom our hostel was overrun for a couple days.

*Sneaking wine into our no-alcohol hostel and having a covert party in our room while listening to everyone bash American politics (oh wait, that happens everywhere I go, haha).

Belfast:

*Wandering around this beautiful city and feeling the contrast between this beauty and the tension still palpable in the streets (mostly strife between Catholics and Protestants).

*Walking around for over an hour looking for an internet cafe.

*Discovering Cadbury hot chocolate!

Ireland was really nice, I had a good time there. Next, ferry to Scotland...
