  • Lone Pine is an older sanctuary for Koalas. Conservation of Koalas is the main interest at Lone Pine. They have their own Eucalyptus grove as feed for the Koalas. There are a wide variety of mammals here; Emu, Cassowary, Bush Turkey, Peacocks, Wallabies, and Red and Gray Kangaroos. Mobs of roos lay around and they have grown so use to people they don't pay much attention to them unless they have a bag of food. You can buy small bags food and hand feed the roos and wallabies. The Red roos are kept in a fenced off area. They're and a bit of a threat if annoyed.
