I think I must be crazy
From Around the world in 7 weeks in Minneapolis, United States on Dec 31 '05
So, I'm sitting here, thinking and planning and running up a debt the size of Canada's GNP, and I'm fairly certain I must be off my rocker. I'm not judging, just observing. What kind of nut goes to 11 countries, with at least 11 (possibly more) different languages, and of those languages, there is at least 4 different alphabets? I don't know, but they're crazy. Okay, I actually feel better now.
I still have a few hotels to book; I'm waiting for re-confirmation on the convent in Rome (somehow I just find that so ironic). I thought about a papal visit, but I didn't want to push my luck. I was so close to going to Murmansk, above the Arctic Circle (just because, really), but I couldn't fit it in. Still working on getting the Taj Mahal a little closer. I also got my hands on a digital camera (not promising anything, though - thanks Skylar).
If anyone wants to join me, after Turkey, it's visa-free, so let me know. Anyway, we're down to almost 2 weeks and counting....
