Arriving in Bangkok

We left Kaho Lak at about 5pm, taking the overnight bus to Bangkok.  We had already booked a room in Bangkok and checked out how to get from the Southern Bus terminal to where we were staying so we weren't too stressed.  Plus, having spent almost 3 weeks at the beach we were both excited to be moving on to a big city.

Turned out we were the only non-thai people on the bus which i thought was a little surpising - I would have expected a few other tourists.  The bus itself was very comfortable, blankets and snacks were provided
