Well..... we made it!!

After so long of this trip being just a figment of our imagination, we are finally here, andthings couldn't be more different than clean, ordered and cold Canberra, our home for the last year and half.

Canberra to Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur is a bustling, hot, and busy city, with a multicultural population that merges together in a harmonious and colourful style. The streets are abuzz with motorbikes, the traffic is insane and we are dripping with sweat by the time we have finished breakfast.

We find ourselves struggling to cope wtih the pace and heat,so hop on a bus in search of the Botanical Gardens, and then discover that we are heading in the direction of a butterfly park!! What a treat!! We spend the rest of our afternoon here, soaking up the tranquility and playing with our new camera, while butterflys stop and perch on our shoulders....

We regret that we don't have more energy to explore this city and do it justice, but our batteries need recharging, and all we can think of doing is lying on a beach somewhere for a couple of weeks before startingour big adventure....
