So we got up at 4:00am and headed for the train station for our flight to Sevilla, Spain - we made it there ontime, with 5 minutes to spare, in fact - but the train left the station 25 minutes late.
Ryan Air (who we are officially boycotting for life) changed our flight from 7:00am to 6:15am - and we missed it.
Great.
So, the choices were to wait until 6:00 that night (and spend 12 hours in the London Stansted airport - no thank you) or fly at 8:00am to Jerez - about 30 miles outside of Sevilla. We went for it, not knowing what we were getting ourselves in to!

We got to Jerez, where we were the only English speaking people in the city besides one girl in the airport (and our Spanish is REALLY bad, which we quickly learned).
We finally explained to the taxi driver we had to go to the train station (though it turns out train is just "tren" - we hope he was just messing with us, or we let a moron drive us).
The train wasn't for more than an hour still, so we had some tapas at a little "cafe" (which it turns out to be the Spanish word for dump with a patio) - we didn't know what we were ordering, but it turned out alright (though we were probably just starving!)

We finally got on the train and headed for Sevilla... AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER we finally arrived, at 2 in the afternoon. Phew.
