So seville was so hot it was hard to do ANYTHING before 10pm, I have never felt such heat in my life, it was in the 40s even at midnight, and did NOT let up. The week before it hit 52, which I dont think I thought was possible. Anyways, the hostel had a great terrace with hammocks so I spent siesta time escaping the heat there. Went to the cathedral though which is just enormous with treasure rooms and a museum sort of setting so that was interesting (and cooler than outside thank god).

The city is beautiful, spent my last day walking, the bull fighting ring is this gorgeous old building that covertly hides the grossness of the fights inside!! Met more people (generally all Aussies) and one of the guys and I went to find a pub for a drink, en route we heard this man singing in a gypsy kings style and guitar so we poked our heads into this TINY little bar/store thing and there was an old man on a stool singing and stomping his canes to the beat while 3 old men looked on and one played guitar, they invited us in so we had a drink there just enjoying music that was NOT for once destined for tourists but instead was just part of their lives, VERY very fun.

That night we went to a Flamenco bar and watched the dancer swirl and stop to the music, these 2 old ladies went up later as well and just started doing Flamenco and they were GREAT, the music was wonderful as was our big group from the hostel.... and the sangria!!!
