So here we are at 100pm on a bus going out to the river jungle to look for monkeys...these Probiscus Monkeys that have big noses. ( Will attach photos later) Anyways it took us about 2 hours on the bus out to Graman River Lodge where we boarded a boat, put on these flashy lifejackets so the monkeys could see us (just kidding) and headed down the river, the 4 of us along with 6 Australians and the tour guide.

We were a bit skeptical that we would even see any monkeys since it was about 10 mins before we saw the first one off in the distance. We passed some water buffalo in the water and there were some monkeys in the trees.

Searching for Monkeys

It was a pretty cool tour and we ended up spotting about 25- 30 monkeys. We went back to the restaurant and had a lovely dinner and sat and talked with the fellow travellers. After dinner we walked out along the river to catch a glimpse of the fire flies in the Mango trees. There were thousands of them. I guess its only the males that supposedly light up. After which we were back in the van heading back to KK.

Once back in KK we headed to the supermarket to get some beer and munchies. Yes you can but alcohol in the supermarkets here...a pretty good deal if you ask me!

The following day we headed out from KK to Kuala Lumpur and on to Bangkok.

KL airport is about the nicest airport we have ever been in. Very modern and user friendly. We got on the flight and headed to Bangkok.

Yeah Thailand finally...or is it a yeah?
