The Gong Show Begins

Arrived in Regina in the afternoon to 32 degree weather. Lame. Besides that, Regina is really really flat (being from BC, I really had no idea when people said it was flat). Kate and I stayed at her aunt and uncle's place (Helga and Jeff). I do have to say it was pretty sweet. We hung out with Kate's cousin Nick most of the night, and went out to a bar that ended up being quite the place. Apparently in Saskatchewan, everyone drinks "skooners" of beer, which are like 2.25 pints in one huge glass, and they cost about 5 bucks, so you can get shitfaced for around $20. The bar also had wings night, and their wings were quite tasty. On the way home while stoned and drunk, we decided we should try out the Mentos and Diet Coke thing. Contrary to what some may think, yes, it really does work. We popped a couple of Mentos in the 2L bottle, and the thing geysered about 7 feet. Being stoned and drunk, you can imagine how entertained we were. Anyways, the next day we kinda shopped etc, nothing too exciting really. We got high and watched 'V for Vendetta', which I would highly recommend. That's pretty much all I got for Regina.
