Al-Azwath is probably my favorite Indian restaurant to go to. It's really close by, and the waiters are friendly too. If you look carefully, you can see one of the waiters waving to the camera. :) Restaurant staff people (and other vendors) usually call their customers "boss," so don't be surprised if you hear that when eating out or shopping at the market!

Tonight was cool. I napped from 3 to 8 (yeah, I was just a little tired...), and when I woke up, I was hungry! "Saya lapar!" So I decided to go to an Indian mamak stall (an open-air Indian restaurant that's run by Muslims) that I'd been to before. The only problem was, I didn't know the name of the place! I knew the name of the neighborhood (Seksyen 2, or SS2), but that was it. But I wasn't going to accept defeat...

So, I called for a taxi, and when he arrived, I told him to take me to SS2. When he wanted to know where in SS2, I told him to get me to some good Indian food! He asked me what part of the neighborhood I wanted to go to, and of course I had no idea. So we drove around a couple minutes, and then he asked me if I wanted mamak, to which I replied "yes," and then he said "Pelita?" and I said "YES!" As soon as he said the name, I remembered it (its full name is Nasi Kandar Pelita) from the take-out (or "take-away" as they say here) bag I had in my room from the last time I got food from there. So I made it there and back and enjoyed some good (and cheap!) Indian food. Yay!
