What a difference a state makes in the scenery. After the mountains and forests of California and Oregon, the salt flats and the desert of Nevada are quite a change. With a good tailwind, we traveled across Nevada and Utah to Salt Lake City. The KOA that we planned to stay in was full, so we headed on. After being in 104 degree weather in California, we found snow flurries and sleet in the mountains east of Salt Lake City.
