Day 23:

Broke the toilet at the hotel (Chris this is definitely your type of story - not girly one bit!!!!!!).

Made a sharp exit but not after I had to politely go into a cafe at 9am (empty) to get a bottle of water and slope off to the toilet.

Got on the minibus to Mount Bromo...advertised time of arrival 7pm...indonesian time that means 9.30pm. I was sat in the front where only elves could sit....the actual elf was sat in the back having a whale of a time!! After a brief stop I got in the back and entered the world of Vikki's palace where you can actually stretch your legs! We were with a load of dutch people..there are loads in Indonesia.

Got to the hotel. Hotel Yoschi's...after Vikki had a cow that we had no hot water (it was on the leaflet) we upgraded to a better room. It was class though little cottage on the mountain side!

Had tea...bed....tired.

Day 24:

After travelling all day we had to get up at 3.30...nightmare!! Without too much detail the whole area is one big crater with three volcano's in the middle. We got a jeep to the top of one to view the sunrise and get a view over the area. AWESOME...defo see the pics!!

One has constant steam / smoke coming out of it...the other has an eruption every 20 mins! All in one big crater...AWESOME!

Then went to Mount Bromo itself and walked to the top..across the sea of sands...then up alot of steps. (Vikki nearly died as the evil was still present). Looked straight into the volcano (this was the one with constant steam / smoke)..very Star Wars landscape.

Headed back to the hotel and vetoed the transport onto Bali until the next day. Chilled out / slept in the morning and then went for a wander in the afternoon towards the village. The whole area is full of loads of steep green mountains...class! Found a random swanky new designer hotel / lodge that had a mini art gallery in it..Very random but very good banana fritters!!

I think the staff thought I ate loads because I got a free plate of fruit for dessert! A Marsh up Mount Bromo!

Also got a deal on the room so it was half price..jackpot as we were going to stop the 2nd night anyway!!
