How did we end up visiting Stockholm?  By making friends in Vietnam (2005) and Argentina (2006), of course!  Caught a cheap and early flight from England to be met at the airport by friends we hadn't seen for a couple of years (would we recognise eachother??? - not a problem).  Memories of Stockholm include: dinner cruise on the lake, hot-air balloons filling the city skyscape, Swedish summer nights (not much sleep for Pete), sailing on a Boy Scout boat, tramping through the city, fantastic gelati, pizza picnics and kubb battles in the park, BarBQ, Swedish meatballs, sill, caviar in a tube, lingonberries, salty licroice, wide-screened World Cup finals and of course the chance to see Ikea furniture in its natural environment. A big thank you to our wonderful friends for showing us their city and culture.  Until next we meet.....
