When it came to leaving at last I felt terrible waving goodbye to Jont and the boys. As the taxi drew away Stan ran down the road after me and I felt like a triple amputee.
Crossing the international date line meant that April 1st lasted for about 40 hours and I was awake for most of them. Fool! Actually I was really lucky with my flights and got great seats on both Bangkok - Taipe and Taipe - LA.
Finally arrived in LA and went to a local hotel for a brief (7 hour) stop-over. I got to end the day in a big hot bubble bath - bliss!
